About Face ™
Orange, darker reverse. Flowers: Orange blend, deep orange-gold upper, burnished red reverse.. Mild to strong, apple, fruity fragrance. 26 to 30 petals. Average diameter 4". Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped, globular, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, upright, well-branched. Large, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.
Height of 5' to 6' (150 to 185 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower or garden. Very vigorous. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Very strong vigor, good color at all stages of bloom, lots of flower, very upright habit.
